Protecting our Community for generations to come.

VOTE NO

TO DATA CENTER

“PROPOSED CHARTER” AMENDMENT

PROTECT DEFIANCE. KEEP OUR OPTIONS OPEN.

Strong standards. No blank checks. No blanket ban.

Defiance deserves both protection and opportunity.

We believe any proposed data center should have to prove it belongs here. That means public review, protection for water and neighborhoods, clear responsibility for infrastructure costs, and a demonstrated community benefit.

We oppose this charter amendment because we support a different approach: evaluate each proposal, require honest answers, and hold developers accountable.

Supporting responsible development does not mean accepting every project. It means demanding strong standards and making decisions based on the facts.

Take the time to establish strong rules. Preserve the ability to make informed decisions.

We support careful planning and public scrutiny. We do not believe a broad charter prohibition is the best substitute for evaluating individual proposals under clear, enforceable standards.

A worthwhile investment should strengthen the community.

Vote NO on the proposed data-center charter amendment.
